For those of you who haven’t spoken with Amanda yet, we thought we’d formally introduce her. Amanda joined us as Sales Manager earlier this year and has spent the last few months getting to know the team and the industries our clients operate in.
Amanda brings with her a wealth of B2B and B2C experience in sales, across a variety of sectors including: Food Manufacturing, Travel, Hospitality and Retail. With a passion for growing sales and introducing fresh and innovative approaches to business, Amanda is responsible first and foremost for supporting our customers by ensuring they continue to receive a quality product, delivered on time, at a competitive price. She will also develop the business by working with a wide range of organisations, particularly on the South Coast, with PCB Assembly, Test and Repair.
What you may not know about Amanda
She is a professional chef
She is a qualified horticulturalist, loving nothing better than spending time on her allotment.
Her claim to fame is launching sandwich wraps in the UK at the turn of the millennium, driving sales of £3m in just 12 months!

“Joining a new industry after a career break was daunting, but I love my role at Soumac. The electronics industry is so diverse that no two days are the same. One day I’m helping a Crowdfunding Project develop “the next big thing” and the next I’m discussing rugged enclosures for the Defence industry!
As well as managing the sales function, I’m developing the business, and this has involved introducing a two-year Assembly Warranty, and updating our website to allow BOM and gerber files to be uploaded. I’m also very excited to be extending the Soumac Awards to Southdowns College and CEMAST. I look forward to working with them and nurturing our future engineers.”
