Soumac proudly sponsored Paul Sumpner as he took his fundraising to new heights on Sunday 12th July, when he abseiled down the Spinnaker Tower in aid of The Rowan’s Hospice.
The Rowan’s Hospice is a dedicated, local charity based in Portsmouth and East Hampshire. They specialise in hospice care and support to patients who are suffering with cancer and life-shortening illnesses. They also branch out to provide support for the relatives and carers. The Rowan’s Hospice offers physical, emotional and spiritual support to manage the symptoms and relief of pain and distress. Since they were established in 1994, they have helped more than 7,000 patients and families in the local area.
Paul was really glad he made the leap and had a great time doing it. He successfully made it down the Spinnaker Tower in one piece, despite the rain and wind.
Paul has managed to raise a staggering £945 for this devoted and hard-working charity and you still have the chance to help Paul reach his £1,000 target, by donating to his JustGiving page. For more information about The Rowan’s Hospice and all the great work they are involved in, click here.
